Magic & Illusion

When you see a magician, in the back of your mind you are thinking: "Okay, this is a magic show. I wonder how he does that."

Magic includes the production (apperance), vanish (disapperance), transposition (switching of items without being visibly switched), restoration (restoring anew something destroyed), and penetration (solid through solid) of items.

These "items" include, but are not limited to cards, coins, rope, hankerchiefs, and stage props.

As magicians, we are going to entertain you in an enchanting way. We will accomplish this by our slight of hand, by our " hand is quicker than the eye," and by the art of illusion.

We provide top-quality entertainment for a variety of functions. Overall, we will entertain you and allow you to imagine, believe, empathize, remember and experience the magic.

Pirate Reinactment

Need some pirates for your party or want some pirates to "storm" your home, office or school? We will come and cause a ruckus, take captives and perhaps, even auction them off!

Show Examples

Close-up

This style of magic is designed for a living room size type of venue (typically 18 people or less). Smaller magic effects are used (coins, cards, rope, etc.) and often the magic is done in the audience's hands.

As a guideline, this style of show typically lasts between 20 to 30 minutes, but can be longer or shorter depending on your needs.

Requirements are a small table (card table) and chair for the magician, and two chairs (one chair on each side) for participants brought forward from the group.

Parlor

This style of magic is designed for a large family room to small banquet room size venues. Small and medium sized effects are used. Examples of medium sized effects include jumbo cards, handkerchiefs, smaller stage props, etc.).

As a guideline, this style of show typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, but can be longer or shorter depending on your needs.

Requirements are a small table (card table) and chair for the magician, two chairs for participants brought forward from the group, and close proximity to electrical power.

Depending on the venue, additional set-up and tear-down time may be required for backdrops, lighting and sound.

Stage

This style of magic is designed for a large banquet room to a theater size type of venue. Small, medium and large sized stage illusions are used.

Professional stage lighting and sound are also used. Because of this, ample time must be available prior to the start of the venue for set-up and afterwards for tear-down.

As a guideline, the length of this style of show depends upon if we are booked for an entire show (typically 60 to 90 minutes) or as one of many magicians for a show, where we might be booked to do one effect (5 to 15 minutes) or a complete set (any amount of time up to 90 minutes). Longer or shorter shows are available upon request.

Requirements are for access to ample electrical power. We provide the backrops, lighting, and sound (including sound technician).

Strolling

This style of magic is designed for the magician to be either in a fixed location (e.g., trade booth, hospitality suite, etc.) or walking around the venue entertaining guests without interfering with the event in progress (e.g., restaraunts, wedding receptions, etc.).

Small to medium magic effects are used (similar to close-up and parlor).

This type of venue is arranged by the hour. Most events are from 1 to 2 hours. Longer or shorter shows are available upon request.
